We are seeking a new venue!  Know of a place where we can meet?  Must be within 2-4 miles east or west of the library and 2-4 miles north or south of the library.  Contact Howie if you have ideas.

Your Steering Committee: We have several subcommittees:

Experience Plus (dedicated to helping those 55+)
Speakers (dedicated to bringing in highly qualified speakers)
Operations (dedicated to bringing ProNet to the "next level")
Marketing & Publicity (dedicated to getting the word out to all Central Floridian Unemployed)
Operation Employer Awareness (dedicated to finding the jobs and posting
Meeting Operations (set up and administer the meetings)
Grants & Funding (dedicated to acquiring credentials)
and several others

Each is chaired by an Associate Director. These are professionals who have opted to, unselfishly, give a few hours of their time during the month to help you find that "perfect position". We have 5 Directors who lead the organization....they also can help YOU!! Look elsewhere on this site for their names and their specialties. They need YOUR help.

Need Gas Money?
At each meeting, attendees are asked to contribute one dollar to the gas raffle which is held during the meeting. This is not a requirement. In these trying times, ProNet recognizes that not everyone can spare even one dollar; however, even if you do not contribute to the raffle, you will still receive a ticket with a chance to win some gas money. Nobody will be left out of the raffle.

Let's Work Together! Many unemployed professionals attend the ProNet meetings each month until they secure employment. The meetings tend to energize, inform, and provide a major networking forum for unemployed and under employed professionals. ProNet's goal is that you will visit us only once, then secure employment. However, you are welcome to attend as long as it is necessary to secure gainful employment. You'll find each visit will be both different as well as invigorating.
